Tingkat Kecemasan Karier Pada Mahasiswa BK UHAMKA

Kecemasan karier merupakan permasalahan psikologis yang sering dialami mahasiswa dalam menghadapi transisi dari dunia pendidikan ke dunia kerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat kecemasan karier mahasiswa Program Studi Bimbingan dan Konseling Universitas Muhammadiyah Prof. DR. HAMKA. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei deskriptif. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 185 mahasiswa yang dipilih melalui teknik simple random sampling dari populasi sebanyak 345 mahasiswa. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan skala kecemasan karier yang mencakup aspek kemampuan diri, keyakinan irasional tentang pekerjaan, lingkungan ketenagakerjaan, dan pendidikan profesional. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 60% mahasiswa berada pada kategori kecemasan karier tinggi, 37% pada kategori sangat tinggi, dan 3% pada kategori sedang. Aspek kemampuan diri menjadi aspek yang paling dominan dengan persentase 94%, diikuti lingkungan ketenagakerjaan (91%), pendidikan profesional (89%), dan keyakinan irasional tentang pekerjaan (85%). Temuan ini menunjukkan perlunya penguatan layanan bimbingan karier untuk meningkatkan kesiapan dan kepercayaan diri mahasiswa dalam menghadapi tantangan karier di masa depan.
