Abstract

The development of information technology provides a significant opportunity for the world of education to improve efficiency in managing academic data. SD Inpres 25 Fanindi-Manokwari currently still uses a manual system in processing student report cards, so the process of assessment, recapitulation, and distribution of learning outcomes takes a long time and has the potential to cause errors. This study aims to develop a web-based online report card information system that can be used by teachers to input grades and by students and parents to access report card results in real-time. The system development method uses the Waterfall Model, which includes the stages of needs analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. Test results using Black Box Testing show that all features run according to their functions, while user feasibility testing through questionnaires to teachers and parents obtained a satisfaction percentage of 92%, which is categorized as very feasible. With this system, the process of managing grades becomes faster, more accurate, and transparent, and facilitates communication between the school and parents. This online report card information system is expected to be an effective solution as well as a development model for other elementary schools in the Manokwari area.
