Abstract

The manual process of collecting data on social assistance recipients in Pakansari Village hinders the performance of the selection team. This study aims to develop a Decision Support System (DSS) to determine potential social assistance recipients using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method. This Decision Support System was built using the PHP programming language and MySQL database in accordance with the criteria set by the sub-district, namely income, distance, number of family members, vulnerable groups, and age. The research method used was a quantitative approach. The results of the study show that the application of the SAW method can help the selection process to be more objective, fast, and accurate so that the determination of aid recipients can be more targeted
