Sistem Pendukung Keputusan Pemilihan Mitra Transportasi Berbasis Metode MOORA

The selection of transportation partners at PT Amanah Jaya Logistik has so far been conducted conventionally and subjectively, since decisions rely solely on the lowest rental price without comprehensively considering fleet condition, cargo safety, experience, and responsiveness. This condition risks decision-making errors and reduces customer trust in the company. This research aims to design and build a website-based Decision Support System (DSS) that applies the Multi-Objective Optimization on the basis of Ratio Analysis (MOORA) method to help select transportation partners objectively, quickly, and accurately. The research methodology includes observation and interviews at the research site, the collection of data from 100 transportation-partner alternatives based on five criteria, namely rental price, fleet condition, cargo safety, experience, and responsiveness, as well as system implementation using the PHP programming language, MySQL database, and Visual Studio Code editor. The test results show that the MOORA method can process the decision matrix through normalization and criteria-weighting stages, producing optimization values (Yi) that can be ranked into recommendations. This system has proven to help the management of PT Amanah Jaya Logistik make transportation-partner selection decisions that are more transparent, measurable, and objective.
