Penggabungan Metode Filter Median dan Filter Gaussian untuk Pengurangan Derau Citra

Image has an important role in presenting information visually. The advantage that images have compared to data in text form is that they contain information that cannot be explained in writing. In this research, the method applied is an experiment which consists of 5 stages, namely data collection, improvement using a Gaussian filter, improvement using a median filter, improvement results after using these two filters, and finally a comparison of the image improvement results with the PSNR value. After improving the image and PSNR, the results obtained from combining the Gaussian filter and median filter are slightly better than just using each filter separately. The results for image 1 showed that the combined PSNR value of the filter was 33.4856 dB, the Gaussian filter was 26.1367 dB, and the median filter was 32.5763 dB. It was found that the increase was around 6.4396 dB, so it could be interpreted that the improvement results using both filters were successful in achieving the desired results as expected from this research.
