Abstract

Mindset atau teori implisit tentang kecerdasan merupakan konstruk psikologis yang menjelaskan bagaimana individu memandang kemampuan dirinya dan menghadapi tantangan akademik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengadaptasi dan memvalidasi Revised Implicit Theories of Intelligence (Self-Theory) Scale ke dalam Bahasa Indonesia pada populasi mahasiswa. Sebanyak 200 mahasiswa sarjana dari berbagai perguruan tinggi di Jakarta berpartisipasi dalam penelitian ini. Proses adaptasi dilakukan melalui penerjemahan maju, penerjemahan balik, penilaian ahli, dan uji keterbacaan. Analisis data mencakup uji validitas konstruk menggunakan Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) dan uji reliabilitas dengan koefisien Cronbach’s alpha dan McDonald’s omega. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa model dua faktor, yaitu fixed mindset dan growth mindset, memiliki tingkat kecocokan model yang sangat baik (CFI = 0.998; TLI = 0.997; RMSEA = 0.020; SRMR = 0.040) serta reliabilitas internal yang tinggi (α = 0.847; ω = 0.850). Skala versi adaptasi ini dinyatakan valid, reliabel, dan sesuai secara budaya untuk mengukur keyakinan individu terhadap kemampuan diri, serta dapat digunakan untuk mendukung penguatan growth mindset pada mahasiswa.
