The Relevance of Soekarno's Idea "To Build the World Anew" in Facing the Contemporary Global Geopolitical Crisis

Transformasi geopolitik global pada abad ke-21 ditandai oleh meningkatnya rivalitas kekuatan besar, munculnya tatanan dunia multipolar, konflik bersenjata antarnegara, krisis energi, ketimpangan ekonomi global, serta ancaman perubahan iklim. Kondisi tersebut menunjukkan bahwa sistem internasional masih menghadapi berbagai persoalan struktural yang menghambat terwujudnya perdamaian dan keadilan global. Dalam konteks tersebut, pemikiran Presiden Soekarno yang tertuang dalam pidato To Build the World Anew yang disampaikan pada Sidang Umum Perserikatan Bangsa-Bangsa tahun 1960 kembali memperoleh relevansi. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis relevansi gagasan Soekarno dalam menghadapi krisis geopolitik global kontemporer. Penelitian menggunakan metode penelitian hukum normatif dengan pendekatan historis, konseptual, dan geopolitik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gagasan Soekarno mengenai anti-kolonialisme, anti-imperialisme, kesetaraan kedaulatan negara, solidaritas Global South, reformasi tata dunia internasional, dan perdamaian dunia masih memiliki relevansi yang kuat dalam menghadapi dinamika geopolitik global saat ini. Pemikiran tersebut dapat menjadi dasar konseptual bagi Indonesia dalam memperkuat politik luar negeri bebas aktif dan memainkan peran sebagai middle power dalam tatanan dunia multipolar.
